As a Registered Nurse Charge Nurse in our facility, you will be responsible for various duties that help in the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our patients:

• Measuring a patient's temperature, blood pressure, and various essential statistics
• Handling basic patient care responsibilities, such as changing a bandage or catheterization
• Continuously assessing the patient's health, mood, and behavior and promptly informing an RN Unit Manager or the attending Physician of any concerns
• Patient recounts significant memories involving family members
• Clarifying patients' healthcare needs, outlining the procedures prescribed by their physicians, and addressing any apprehensions or grievances they may have
• Executing medication distribution as directed by physicians to patients
• It is crucial that we continue to promote the use of vaccines to prevent outbreaks of infectious diseases and ensure a healthier future for all
• Working alongside CNA’s and NA’s to provide optimal care and comfort to patients

Qualifications/Requirements:

• The nurse is in good standing with the Federal and State licensing authorities and meets all the necessary licensure prerequisites
• Nurses must have an understanding of ethical attributes and principles, such as confidentiality and informed consent, when providing care to their patients
• Using digital records for patient history and trends allows for more personalized and effective care plans
• A certified practical nurse who has graduated from an accredited nursing program and is authorized to provide nursing care to patients
