By working as an LPN Charge Nurse at our facility, you'll gain valuable experience in providing nursing care, and make a meaningful contribution to the health and happiness of our residents:
- Measuring a patient's temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs to provide essential information about their general health
- Carrying out basic patient care functions such as replacing a wound dressing or inserting a urinary catheter
- Diligently monitoring the patient's welfare, recognizing any variations in their physical or emotional condition, and promptly informing the RN Unit Manager or Physician of any issues that arise
- Patient telling about their family while you listen keenly
- Supporting patients in understanding their treatment, outlining the medical interventions prescribed by their physicians, and acknowledging any concerns or grievances they may have
- Following the prescription orders given by physicians in administering medication to patients
- Granting patients access to immunizations
- Helping or instructing CNA/NAs to provide excellent care to our patients
Qualifications/Requirements:
- This nurse has a legitimate and active license and satisfies all applicable federal and state licensing obligations
- Finally, nurses must have excellent documentation skills to ensure accurate and complete records of patient care. This is important for continuity of care and for legal and regulatory purposes

- Someone who has completed a rigorous program in practical nursing that has been accredited by recognized organizations
