Being a Registered Nurse Charge Nurse in our facility entails performing various responsibilities that ensure the provision of excellent healthcare services to our patients:

• Taking a patient's temperature, blood pressure, and other fundamental metrics
• Completing basic patient-care tasks, such as renewing dressings or catheter placement
• Watching the patient's physical condition, attitude, and behavior closely and informing the Physician on duty or an RN Unit Manager of any deviations
• Intimate moments shared between patient and healthcare provider about family
• Orienting patients to the care they will receive, outlining the procedures ordered by their physicians, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have
• Regulating medication to patients in accordance with their physician’s prescription
• As healthcare professionals, we must educate patients on the importance of immunizations and encourage them to get vaccinated
• Guiding and training CNA’s and NA’s to provide top-tier care to anyone in need

Qualifications/Requirements:

• This nurse possesses the required Federal and State licensure and is in good standing with respect to all regulatory prerequisites
• Acquiring the skills necessary to perform basic operations such as blood pressure measurement and administering medication is critical for nurses
• Electronic medical records are vital in reducing medical errors and improving patient outcomes
• An individual who has fulfilled the academic and practical requirements of a certified nursing program
