We’re looking for a LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse to join our family and be a valuable member of our team. At our facility, our LPN Charge Nurses are responsible for a range of tasks that contribute to the overall safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients:
- Evaluating and recording an individual's temperature, blood pressure, and other crucial statistics to help diagnose medical conditions
- Undertaking crucial tasks in the domain of healthcare provision, such as bandage replacement or catheterization
- Attentively supervising the patient's health, mood, and behavior, tracking any shifts in their state of being, and communicating relevant observations to the attending Physician or Nurse Unit Manager
- Paying close attention to a patient recalling their family history
- Assisting patients with preparing for their care, explaining the procedures directed by their doctors, and noting any apprehensions or complaints they express
- Giving patients medication as prescribed by their doctors
- Delivering vaccinations to those who require them
- Partnering or advising CNA/NAs to optimize patient care
Qualifications/Requirements:
- The practical nurse is compliant with federal and state licensure regulations and maintains a positive reputation in the field
- Patient education is another competency skill that nurses must possess, ensuring that patients have the knowledge and skills necessary to manage their conditions and achieve optimal health outcomes
- EMRs also offer significant time savings for healthcare professionals, as they eliminate the need for manual charting and improve accessibility to patient information
- A graduate of a licensed practical nursing program from an institution that has met or exceeded the standards set by accrediting agencies
