As a Registered Nurse Charge Nurse in our facility, you will be responsible for various duties that help in the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our patients:

• Recording a patient's temperature, blood pressure, and additional critical indicators
• Accomplishing primary responsibilities in patient care, such as renewing bandages or inserting catheters
• Keeping an eye on the patient's well-being, mood, and demeanor and informing a Physician or RN Unit Manager of any abnormalities
• Candid conversation with a patient about their family life
• Briefing patients on their healthcare, describing the procedures prescribed by their physicians, and addressing any reservations or concerns they may have
• Regulating medication to patients in accordance with their physician’s prescription
• It is crucial that we continue to promote the use of vaccines to prevent outbreaks of infectious diseases and ensure a healthier future for all
• Guiding and training CNA’s and NA’s to provide top-tier care to anyone in need

Qualifications/Requirements:

• This nurse satisfies all the necessary Federal and State licensure qualifications and is in compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Basic nursing skills such as infection control and sanitation are critical to maintaining a safe and healthy hospital environment
• Electronic medical records are vital in reducing medical errors and improving patient outcomes
• A certified practical nurse who has graduated from an accredited nursing program and is authorized to provide nursing care to patients
